16、 the level shown in the flow sheet,.Adjust the accept valve to the required flow with the feed valve fully open,.Adjust the amount of flow to be discharged as reject with the reject valve,.Deaerate the screen through the air exhaust valve on the screen cover and close,the valve when there is a conti

17、nuous flow of liquid from the connection,8,9,10,11,.Open the feed valve fully,6,7,.Start the feed pump of the screen,Operation control and flow adjustment,Most important in operational control are:,When the screen has been started,it requires very little attention under,normal operation conditions,p

18、ressure difference measurement,reject flow regulation,reject dilution regulation,electric motor load,The pressure and flow of seal water should be checked once in each shift!,Operating instructions-Starting,Stop and flush the screen in the following sequence:,.Stop the feed pump,.Close the accept va

19、lve fully while the screen is still operating,.Close the feed valve fully,.Open the dilution valve in order to flush the reject and the fibers to reject,treatment,.Close the reject valve and open the air exhaust valve on the screen cover,.Continue flushing until the liquid flowing from the air exhau

20、st pipe no,longer contains fibers,.Unless it is necessary to open the cover and carry out a maintenance,inspection,the screen can be left filled with water until the next start-up!,Close the dilution,fresh water,and air exhaust valves.Stop the screen motor.,Close the seal water valve.,.If the downti

35、er ring into place.When the spacer ring is properly in its place,install the mounting screws of the spacer ring.,.Tighten the screws with a torque wrench to a tightness of 60 Nm crosswise following the numbering in following picture.If there are more screws than in the figure,follow the same princip

37、r of the parts!The central sleeve can be mounted correctly in one way only!,Install the rotor on to the shaft:,.THINLY OIL THE SHAFT END,ROTOR HUB AND OUTER AND CONICAL SURFACES OF THE FIXING SLEEVE.,.Attach two eyescrews into the holes on the rotor hub and lift the rotor onto the shaft.,.Mount the

38、fixing sleeve part by part in accordance with the following picture,Mount the lower conical ring of the fixing sleeve into place,Place the central sleeve on top of the lower conical ring so that the slits in the parts meet each other,Mount the upper conical ring(1)so that the slits in the parts meet

39、 each other.,With a torque spanner,tighten the screws of the fixing sleeve evenly cross-wise,little by little.Tighten the screws on both sides of the slit after one another.Tighten all screws until they have reached the given tightening torque.,1,2,3,The rotor must be removed for maintenance purpose
