of the spacer ring and lift off the spacer ring,.Detach the screen cylinder from its fitting by screwing two spacer ring mounting screws into two opposite threaded holes M12 in the screen cylinder,.Screw two lifting eyes into two opposite M12 holes and lift off the screen cylinder.,Screen cylinder-dismounting,Wash detached parts,inspect potential wear,inspect the condition of the O-ringat the bottom end of the screen cylinder.,1,2,3,4,.Lower the screen cylinder into ModuScreen.Ensure that the cylinder is straight.The fitting at the bottom end and the anti-torsion screws at the top end guide the screen cylinder into place.,.Install the spacer ring into place.When the spacer ring is properly in its place,install the mounting screws of the spacer ring.,.Tighten the screws with a torque wrench to a tightness of 60 Nm crosswise following the numbering in following picture.If there are more screws than in the figure,follow the same principle as to the order in which the screws are tightened.,.Place the cover back into place and tighten the mounting screws.,Screen cylinder-mounting,5,.Fasten the air exhaust connection hose of the cover.,Screen cylinder-tightening,Screen cylinder-fixing,Rotor and fixing element,NOTE!Do not mix the order of the parts!The central sleeve can be mounted correctly in one way only!,Install the rotor on to the shaft:,.THINLY OIL THE SHAFT END,ROTOR HUB AND OUTER AND CONICAL SURFACES OF THE FIXING SLEEVE.,.Attach two eyescrews into the holes on the rotor hub and lift the rotor onto the shaft.,.Mount the fixing sleeve part by part in accordance with the following picture,Mount the lower conical ring of the fixing sleeve into place,Place the central sleeve on top of the lower conical ring so that the slits in the parts meet each other,Mount the upper conical ring(1)so that the slits in the parts meet each other.,With a torque spanner,tighten the screws of the fixing sleeve evenly cross-wise,little by little.Tighten the screws on both sides of the slit after one another.Tighten all screws until they have reached the given tightening torque.,1,2,3,The rotor must be removed for maintenance purposes or for the inspectionof the water to the seal recommended to be 100 kPa higherthan the maximum inlet pressure of the screen;however,at least 300 kPa,NOTE:Burgmann mechanical seals require 100 kPa seal water pressureregardless the pulp feed pressure,provided that constant seal water flow0.03-0.08 l/s(2-5 l/min)is maintained,It is essential,to use the correct method of mounting and,to observe the rules of cleanliness,Avoid touching the sliding surfaces,Remove sharp edges from all shoulders,DO NOT MOUNT THE PARTS,BY APPLYING DIRECT BLOWS,TO THE BEARING!,General on the installation seals,Double sided mechanical seal,Double sided mechanical seal-Safematic,Seal water piping,Reasons for dismounting the shaft:,service inspection,damage of bearings,change of bearings,The shaft can be dismounted with or without
